Sometimes you wonder why your blog is not featured or crawled by the Google search engine. Many bloggers think that the final ground for traffic generation is quality SEO content, this might be right but not right. Quality SEO content might be a yardstick for traffic generation but with a sitemapping submission, your SEO content will be as useful as anything.

What is a sitemap?
A sitemap represents your site that helps the search engine find, crawl, and index all your website content. In other words, a sitemap provides all the information concerning your blog to the Google search engine. Failure to sitemap will make your blog invisible to google search engine
How to Add an XML Sitemap to your Blogger?
After you are done adding your blog to the Google search engine with the robot's txt you generated, the next thing to do is submit your blog sitemap.
How do you do this?
Copy the sitemap from the custom robot txt you generated, see below in yellow color:
(User-agent: Mediapartners-Google
Disallow: /search
Disallow: /category/
Disallow: /tag/
Allow: /
Sitemap: https://tutorialspot.com/sitemap.xml
Copy it, then go to Google Search Console, on the menu bar click on the sitemap, then paste the sitemap you copied on where you can see “add your sitemap” After you have pasted it, click on submit. You will be greeted with information saying your sitemap was successful. That will give Google the avenue to start crawling your blog.
